Annapolis, Maryland – Conference & Logistics Consultants Vice President Janeé Pelletier has been nominated for the Professional Convention Management Association’s (PCMA) Outstanding Service to a Chapter Award.

The Outstanding Service to a Chapter Award honors one PCMA member who has made an exemplary contribution to PCMA through its network of chapters. Each chapter nominates one member per year who exhibits dedication to the chapter in areas including but not limited to education, communication, membership, or community service.

Said Pelletier, “I am humbled to be nominated for my volunteer service to the Chesapeake Chapter. PCMA represents a critical space in the meetings industry, providing education, networking, and professional growth opportunities for senior-level hospitality professionals. PCMA has been invaluable to me in my career, and it’s important to me to give back to the organization so others can have those same opportunities.”

Pelletier has been an active PCMA member since 2007. She holds leadership positions as the Treasurer of the Chesapeake Chapter and the Communications Chair of the Capital Chapter.  Pelletier has also served PCMA at the national level as a member of the 2011 Marketing Task Force.

The 2012 Outstanding Service to a Chapter Award winner will be announced at PCMA’s Annual Meeting in January 2013.
