Annapolis, MD...Conference & Logistics Consultants’ Vice President, Janeé Pelletier, has been named to the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Digital Strategy Task Force. Pelletier will serve PCMA in a volunteer capacity for one year.

PCMA’s Digital Strategy Task Force recommends strategies for engagement and implementation of new technologies that allow PCMA to remain competitive and showcase innovative solutions.PCMA is the leading professional organization for meeting and event professionals, with more than 6,00 members worldwide.

Said Pelletier, “It’s a true honor to be recognized by PCMA as an expert in the field of meeting technology. I enjoy advising our clients on ways that technology can improve the attendee experience or cut conference costs – in fact, this experience led us to develop our own mobile conference guide for smartphones and tablets.”

C&LC is recognized for pioneering a flexible and user-friendly proprietary meeting space database, which served as the basis for the meetsmart mobile mobile web application. “I look forward to sharing my expertise with PCMA as a member of the Digital Strategy Task Force,” said Pelletier.

Pelletier has been an active PCMA member since 2007, and has held leadership positions including Treasurer of the Chesapeake Chapter and Communications Chair of the Capital Chapter. Pelletier also served PCMA at the national level as a member of the 2011 Marketing Task Force.
